This Privacy Policy explains how HeartMatching ("we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information when you use our platform. By using HeartMatching you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Your email address, used for passwordless sign-in.
- Profile information you provide, such as your first name, age, general location, interests and values.
- A profile photograph you upload.
- Activity such as interests expressed, connections and messages.
- Limited payment metadata (for example, card brand and last four digits) from our payment processor. We never store full card numbers.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate the platform, build your discovery feed, facilitate connections and messaging, maintain safety and accountability, process the optional one-time messaging payment and comply with legal obligations.
What we never do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not automatically reveal your surname, private email, phone number or precise address to other members.
- We do not store raw card details.
- We do not charge your card automatically.
Photographs and secure storage
Profile photographs are stored privately. We strip unnecessary image metadata on upload and never expose the original storage URL. Images are served through short-lived, access-controlled links.
Your choices and rights
You can edit or delete your profile, pause discovery, remove a confirmed card, export your information and delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your profile from discovery.
